Iman Gadzhi Review: Who Is He and Are His Courses Worth It?

A deep dive into the British entrepreneur’s background, teaching style, and every major program he’s launched — from Agency Navigator to Influencer Ignited.

If you’ve spent more than five minutes researching how to start a social media marketing agency (SMMA), you’ve run into the name Iman Gadzhi. He’s everywhere — YouTube, Instagram, podcasts, and a string of high-ticket courses that have collectively sold to hundreds of thousands of students worldwide. But who exactly is he, and do his programs actually deliver?

Who Is Iman Gadzhi?

Iman Gadzhi was born in Dagestanskie Ogni, Russia, and moved to London with his mother as a young child. By his own account, he grew up watching his mother work multiple jobs just to keep the lights on — and that pressure became the fuel for everything that followed. At 17, he dropped out of school, convinced that traditional education wasn’t the path to the life he wanted.

Rather than freelancing his way through odd jobs, he dove straight into digital marketing, running Facebook ads for local businesses to learn the craft hands-on. By 2017 — still a teenager — he had founded IAG Media, a boutique digital marketing agency focused on social media marketing, sales funnel optimization, and paid advertising for e-commerce brands and influencers. The agency found genuine traction, and that success gave him the credibility (and the blueprint) to start teaching others.

Today, Gadzhi is 26 years old, based between the UK, Dubai, and South Africa, and estimated to be worth somewhere between $25 million and $50 million — depending on which source you ask. His income streams include course revenue through his Educate.io platform, agency income from IAG Media (later rebranded to AgenciFlow), YouTube ad revenue, and strategic startup investments.

His teaching style

Gadzhi doesn’t teach like a professor — he teaches like someone who’s been in the trenches and wants to fast-track you past the mistakes he made. His style is direct, sometimes blunt, and very heavy on implementation over theory. If you want 50 hours of lectures before you take a single action, his courses aren’t for you. If you want a structured system you can act on immediately, you’ll likely enjoy the format.

That said, critics have raised fair questions about whether his business model has shifted more toward selling education about running a business than actually running one. It’s a reasonable critique worth keeping in mind.

Iman Gadzhi’s courses — full list

Over the years, Gadzhi has released several programs under the GrowYourAgency and Educate.io umbrellas. Here are his main courses:

Six Figure SMMA

His debut course. Covers the foundations of starting a social media marketing agency from scratch — service selection, client acquisition, and pricing.

Agency Incubator

An intermediate-level program focused on scaling an already-established agency, improving systems, and raising revenue ceilings.

Agency Navigator

His flagship course and the most comprehensive program he’s released. Covers the full agency journey — niche selection, onboarding, client fulfillment, team building, and scaling. Priced in the $1,499–$2,000 range.

Agency Accelerator

A more recent, streamlined program positioned as the updated successor to Agency Navigator, aimed at getting a new agency to $500–$10,000/month as fast as possible.

Influencer Ignited

Designed for aspiring social media influencers and personal brand builders. Covers content strategy, audience growth, and monetization.

Kaizen Cure

A personal development and productivity program. Focuses on habits, discipline, and the mindset shifts needed to perform at a high level in business.

Six-Figure Sales Rep

A specialized course on high-ticket phone sales — covering objection handling, closing frameworks, and building a sales career for agency environments.

Pen to Profit

A copywriting and content monetization program, teaching students how to turn writing skills into consistent online income.

Pros and cons

On the plus side: the agency-focused courses are genuinely among the more actionable on the market. Agency Navigator in particular is widely credited as a strong foundational resource for SMMA beginners. The community access and ongoing updates add real value. His personal story is also genuinely compelling — he’s not someone who got rich and then decided to sell courses about getting rich.

On the downside: the price tags are high, and results vary significantly based on how much work a student puts in. Some courses feel dated as the market shifts. And like most “guru” ecosystems, there’s an element of polished marketing that deserves a healthy dose of skepticism.

Bottom line: Iman Gadzhi is a legitimate entrepreneur who built a real agency before he ever sold a course about building one. His flagship programs — particularly Agency Navigator and Agency Accelerator — are well-structured and genuinely useful for beginners. Whether they’re worth the price depends entirely on how seriously you execute the material. He’s not a scam, but he’s also not a shortcut.
